Excelerate Technology exhibited at the recent Scottish fleet, waste and ground services seminar and exhibition held in Aviemore on 5-8th May 2009. The stand was hosted by Cebotec, Scotland’s leading specialist supplier of bespoke, coachbuilt vehicles to the public sector including the emergency services.

The event is the largest trade exhibition of its kind in Scotland with over 120 of the major suppliers of Fleet, Waste & Grounds Services in attendance.  It showcases the very best in public services and the positive contributions they make to improving the quality of life across Scotland.

Extending the Range of Satellite Broadband with RapidNet Perimeter

ST MELLONS, CARDIFF, MAY 2009 – Excelerate Technology, the leading supplier of satellite and wireless-based data, voice and video solutions, has announced the immediate availability of RapidNet Perimeter, a new rapid deployment wireless node.  Designed and developed at Excelerate Technology’s new Cardiff-based R&D facility, it enables mesh networks to be quickly established to extend the transmission range of broadband satellite solutions.  It will enable operational personnel to maintain phone, data, radio or video communications with mobile command and control facilities at distances of up to 300 metres.

The Hounslow Creative and Media consortium has launched a new state-of-the-art outdoor broadcast vehicle to support the 14-19 Diploma in Creative and Media, a new qualification in addition to GCSEs and A Levels.   The vehicle is equipped with a comprehensive range of high-end, industry standard broadcast equipment including a transportable satellite solution supplied and installed by Excelerate Technology.
