Excelerate is proud to be the UK pioneer in its field of operations boasting many industry firsts; in fact the truth is our company was the founder of an industry and market which is now growing strongly. This was no accident, it has taken vision, investment, commitment and courage but we have also demonstrated that when it comes to innovation and attitude we have truly been blessed in finding people for whom going the extra mile has been second nature. This is demonstrated regularly by the praise our company receives from the people who matter most, our customers.
Most companies make glib statements about their employees being their greatest asset but our ethos is more truthfully delivered when we publicly declare that our biggest assets are our customers and then our employees. The day that any employee starts believing they are more important than their customers will be a very bad day indeed.
Without sales and marketing a business cannot grow and nor can its business managers have a regular commercial foundation on which to underpin the fortunes of the business. We are particularly proud of our marketing efforts and the way this positions the company and the Excelerate brand but if we were to say that almost 70% of our entire workforce was engaged in R & D, Installation and Support then this should demonstrate the fact that we principally see ourselves as a technology solutions provider who has a preoccupation with providing customers with solutions they need, solutions which match their expectations and which are supported in a way that maximises utilisation and minimises downtime.
The company is Headquartered and runs all of its operations from a two acre private site within a secure technology park fifteen minutes drive from Junction 28 of the M4 at St. Mellons, Cardiff, Wales. Within the 9000 square feet facility we have enough capacity for the foreseeable future to grow and maintain all of our operations under one roof. Of particular note is that within our facility we have our own R & D Centre, distribution, installation and technical engineering functions and it is from here that we run our Network Operations Centre for our private satellite and GSM networks. One of the company’s key differentiators is that its business model determines that it handles every stage of delivery, support and management and does not subcontract these elements out.
