VX Racing have extended their manufacturers’, teams’ and drivers’ leads in the 2008 HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship (BTCC), following a hot weekend at Oulton Park in Cheshire.

Leaving the Cheshire circuit as the most successful team of the weekend, with three podiums and a total of 49 points to add to their BTCC standings, VX Racing move from strength-to-strength as the next round at Knockhill, Fife, looms on the horizon.

‘World Rescue Wales’ has just taken place, hosted by South Wales Fire and Rescue Service at Cardiff International Arena. In support of this prestigious and challenging fire fighting event, Excelerate Technology participated as a gold sponsor.

This high profile competition attracted hundreds of fire fighters from across the globe not only hoping to take the title for the best ‘extrication’ team when dealing with serious traffic incidents, but also to demonstrate and learn from one another in order to provide a more effective response and service for the future.

Technology is no longer a concept sale in terms of delivering broadband to vehicles - it is now an expectation.  What is clear is that the more the technology that is installed, then the greater the usage the vehicles will be put to and the easier becomes the decision to purchase.  However, the need to ensure that this technology is fully integrated and can meet the required objectives highlights the importance of only dealing with suppliers that understand not only the technology, but also the applications and environments in which it will be used.

Powys County Council has enhanced the delivery of its Youth Information Service with two new purpose-built vehicles equipped with the latest satellite-based communications equipment.  Supplied by Excelerate Technology, the UK’s leading provider of mobile data, voice and video solutions using satellite and wireless, the new mobile units will enable Powys to meet statutory requirements for the provision of informal learning opportunities, guidance and support for young people as part of the Welsh Assembly’s National Youth Service Strategy for Wales and young people’s ten Entitlements.

This might be at any one of the ten circuits around the UK including Brands Hatch, Silverstone, Donnington Park, Thruxton and Rockingham or in other parts of Europe where the team carries out testing outside the season.

Excelerate Technology, the leading supplier of satellite and wireless-based data, voice and video solutions, unveiled the first of the new generation of Mobile Incident Response Vehicles (MIRV) for the NHS’s Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) initiative at AMBEX 2008.  The exhibition stand was hosted by Excelerate Technology its coachbuilder partner for the contract, W.H. Bence and the NHS Health Department to demonstrate the results of a major collaboration project to produce the most comprehensively equipped incident response unit ever deployed by ambulance services worldwide.

Excelerate Technology, the leading supplier of satellite and wireless-based data, voice and video solutions, received considerable interest from all the emergency services throughout the recent BAPCO exhibition.  The company was using the exhibition to unveil the range of communication technologies that will be deployed after winning a major contract to equip a new generation of Mobile Incident Response Vehicles (MIRV).  This contract forms part of a national multi million pound framework agreement, Europe’s largest, which was awarded by the NHS for the Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) initiative.

Excelerate Technology has won a major contract to provide the entire communication technology required for a new generation of Mobile Incident Response Vehicles (MIRV).  This is part of a national multi million pound framework agreement awarded by the NHS for the Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) initiative, which aims to provide ambulance service paramedics with the resources to treat patients in hazardous and/or potentially contaminated areas.

A National Multi Million Pound Framework Agreement is awarded by the NHS for the provision of the most comprehensively equipped Mobile Incident Response Vehicles this side of the military for National roll out over the next three years. Excelerate Technology is included in the Framework Agreement for the end to end provision, integration, training, support and management of the entire technology element of the project.

Royal Berkshire Ambulance NHS Trust, the first Ambulance Service in the UK to install Transportable Satellite Broadband VPN (TSBV) technology has achieved another first with the acquisition of STEPS (Strategic Emergency Planning Solution) form Cardiff-based Excelerate Technology and its technology partners Imass.
